About The Club

Hockey Ops & Leadership

Cattle Punchers hockey is being built by experienced operators, hockey leaders, and community-minded partners who understand that launching a team takes more than branding. It takes credibility, structure, development standards, and a game-night identity the city can rally around.

Big Picture

This Is A Serious Build, Not A Soft Launch.

The organization behind Billings hockey is focused on building something that feels credible on the ice and strong off it. That means leadership with real operating experience, hockey staff with development backgrounds, and a local foundation that can support long-term growth in the market.

The goal is a program that gives players a strong path, gives fans a reason to care immediately, and gives Billings a team identity that feels earned from day one.

Local Foundation

Billings Needs More Than A Team. It Needs A Home For Hockey.

The partnership around Signal Peak Energy Arena and the Yellowstone Ice Foundation matters because it gives the team a real local base. That creates space for fan experience, youth access, community events, and a stronger long-range future for hockey in Billings.

  • A real rink environment for players, families, and fans
  • Shared investment in youth development and access to ice sports
  • A stronger platform for game nights and community identity
